I occasionally reach out to wider audiences via public lectures, workshops, and articles in encyclopedias, newspapers, and blogs. I also run the yearly Philosophy Against Malaria fundraising competition, which has raised roughly $60.000 so far. My work inside and outside the department was awarded the Special Prize for Leadership in Cocurricular Enrichment at the University of Michigan.

Besides philosophy, I am passionate about pen-and-paper games, charity evaluation, cooking and soccer.
